Taking the track area of a subway station in Shanghai as the research object, the air temperature and heat flux in the track area are measured, and the temperature changes with height and season are obtained. The results show that the air temperature at different heights of the subway station track area varies with seasonal temperature fluctuations, which is mainly affected by the heat generated by the train and the outdoor air temperature. The heat generated by the train is closely related to the morning and evening peak of operation, and the heat discharged by the condenser on the top of the carriage makes the tunnel temperature rise more significantly in summer compared with other seasons. In addition, by analysing and comparing the variation trend of heat flux between the track area and the tunnel with the seasons, the soil heat storage and release of the track area and the tunnel in different seasons are obtained.
